Anita Goodesign Workshop - September

Creating blanket stitch applique is very similar to the conventional applique technique, however the main difference is the finishing stitch bordering each applique piece. Using this style of applique eludes to a home spun and hand-placed look which is perfect for the Heirloom Christmas theme as the design is added to a natural colored tea towel.

This will be a hands-on class to better acquaint you with this wonderful machine. The features covered will include: choosing from one of the many designs available, resizing, scanning before cutting, cut settings, the three different scanning attributes, icons and what they do, plus much, much more.

Brother ScanNCut Applique and Piecing

Discover the ease of cutting out appliqué patterns and quilt square pieces using the Scan N Cut by Brother. Techniques of fabric preparation, settings of the machine and scanning appliqué patterns will be introduced in the class.

Floriani/PEP Software Club

Software Club is a great way to get you kick started using your software. We will be doing a new project in the software each month.

Foot Frenzy

Foot Frenzy will be a quarterly class that will introduce various feet and how they are used. Each month a different sassy sample will be created that can be used as a reference or made into a table runner, throw, pillow, tote or a quilt. This quarter’s class will show how to use a quilt guide with an open decorative stitch quilting technique, edge foot for Drunkard’s Path and the open toe foot for appliqueing the Black-Eyed Susan, leaves and stem.
